Anyaso Unveils Campaign Leadership Team, Appoints Pastor Okey Dike DG, Hon. Emenike Okorie Strategic Communications Aide

The Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (Ofuji), has unveiled the leadership of the Chima Anyaso Campaign Organization (CACO) with the appointment of key political figures to strategic positions, in what observers describe as a major step towards consolidating his campaign structure ahead of the polls.

The appointments, conveyed in separate letters dated July 28, 2026, are aimed at strengthening the campaign’s organizational capacity and ensuring effective coordination, strategic communication and grassroots mobilization across the constituency.
Heading the campaign structure is Pastor Okey Dike, who has been appointed Director General of the Chima Anyaso Campaign Organization (CACO).

Also appointed is Mrs. Ngozi Sandra Anya as Deputy Director General, while Chief Emeka Onuoha will serve as Chairman, Campaign Advisory Council. Hon. Barr. Chijioke Nwankwo has been named Coordinator, Campaign Advisory Council, and Mr. Emenike Stanley Okorie takes up the role of Special Assistant on Strategic Communications.

In his appointment letter to Pastor Dike, Dr. Anyaso said the decision followed extensive consultations and was based on the cleric’s proven leadership qualities, experience and unwavering commitment to the vision of a better Bende Federal Constituency.

He noted that as Director General, Pastor Dike would provide overall leadership, strategic direction and coordination for the campaign organization, ensuring that all directorates, committees, coordinators and campaign structures work harmoniously towards the successful realization of the campaign’s objectives.

The Director General is expected to supervise campaign operations, coordinate the implementation of campaign plans, advise on key political and organizational decisions, promote unity within the campaign structure and ensure accountability, discipline and efficiency across all levels of the organization.

Expressing confidence in the appointment, Dr. Anyaso stated that Pastor Dike possesses the integrity, diligence and competence required to lead a disciplined, issue-driven and people-oriented campaign capable of delivering the desired electoral success.

In a separate letter, Dr. Anyaso appointed Hon. Emenike Stanley Okorie as Special Assistant on Strategic Communications, citing his exceptional communication skills, intellectual depth and commitment to the ideals and aspirations of the campaign organization.

According to the letter, Okorie will work closely with the Director General and the Directorate of Media and Publicity to develop and coordinate strategic messaging that effectively communicates the campaign’s vision, values, programmes and activities to the electorate.

The appointments of Mrs. Ngozi Sandra Anya as Deputy Director General, Chief Emeka Onuoha as Chairman of the Campaign Advisory Council and Hon. Barr. Chijioke Nwankwo as Coordinator of the Campaign Advisory Council are expected to reinforce the campaign’s leadership architecture by providing strategic oversight, policy guidance and effective coordination of its political engagements.
