The Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency in the 2027 House of Representatives election, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (Ofuji), has been invited as Special Guest to deliver an address and receive the 2026 Dynamic Leadership Award for Outstanding Male Personality at the 11th Ghana-Nigeria Leadership Summit/Achievers Award.

The prestigious event, organised by the Ghana-Nigeria Achievers Award Foundation (GNAAF), is scheduled to hold on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Watercress Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, with the red-carpet session commencing at 4:00 p.m.

According to the organisers, Anyaso was selected for the honour in recognition of his contributions to humanity, leadership, community development and various social-impact initiatives.

The summit, themed “Uniting for Africa’s Development: Celebrating the Impact of Outstanding Personalities Across the Borders of Ghana and Nigeria,” is expected to attract government officials, diplomats, corporate executives, chief executive officers, international media organisations and other distinguished personalities from both countries.

In its formal invitation to Anyaso, GNAAF said his leadership record and humanitarian interventions demonstrated a commitment to improving lives through community-based support programmes and other initiatives aimed at societal development.

The foundation explained that the award followed nominations received from across Nigeria, stressing that the summit was designed to celebrate individuals whose activities and leadership have made meaningful contributions to society.

A major highlight of the event will be the launch of a Youth Entrepreneurship and Skills Acquisition Centre, an initiative aimed at equipping young Nigerians with practical skills, promoting self-reliance and reducing dependence on government employment.

Anyaso’s recognition adds to his growing profile as a politician, philanthropist and community development advocate, with his interventions spanning empowerment, healthcare, education and humanitarian support.

The organisers said the summit would also provide an avenue to deepen the longstanding relationship between Ghana and Nigeria while celebrating personalities contributing to Africa’s development.

The 2026 award is therefore expected to further spotlight Anyaso’s community-focused initiatives and his emerging role in promoting youth empowerment and grassroots development.
