Dr. Chima Anyaso Celebrates with Itumbauzor Women at 2026 August Meeting

The Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso, on Saturday joined the women of Itumbauzor, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, to celebrate their 2026 August Meeting.

Despite his tight itinerary and several engagements lined up for the day, Dr. Anyaso made out time to identify with the women and share in the celebration.

His presence at the gathering was described as a demonstration of his continued commitment to engaging directly with communities and identifying with the people, particularly women whose contributions remain vital to the growth and development of families and communities.

Dr. Anyaso commended the women of Itumbauzor for their unity, resilience and continued commitment to the progress of their community, stressing the important role women play in building stronger families and contributing to community development.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote the welfare, empowerment and development of women across Bende Federal Constituency.

The event attracted several dignitaries, including the Mayor of Bende Local Government Area, Hon. Deacon Uwabunkonye Bassey, alongside other political and community leaders who joined the women to celebrate the annual August Meeting.
