Anyaso Honours Comfort Kalu, Celebrates Women of Virtue at Okai Item

The Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, has honoured Ezinne Lolo Comfort Kalu (JP), following her recognition with an award by the Women’s Wing of Umuaka Okai, Item.

The award ceremony, held at St. John’s Methodist Church, Okai Item, in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, celebrated Kalu for what the organisers described as her virtues of love, wisdom and exemplary contributions to the community.

Dr. Anyaso, who joined the women and members of the church to celebrate the honouree, described the recognition as a well-deserved acknowledgement of her positive impact and the values she represents.

He commended the Women’s Wing of Umuaka Okai for recognising and celebrating women whose lives, service and contributions continue to inspire others and strengthen the community.

The award presentation formed part of the women’s efforts to honour individuals whose character and contributions have made a meaningful difference in the lives of the people.

The occasion also provided an opportunity for Dr. Anyaso to interact with the women and members of the Methodist community, while joining them in celebrating Kalu’s recognition as a woman of virtue, love and wisdom.

The Labour Party candidate expressed appreciation for the warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to engaging with communities, women and other stakeholders across Bende Federal Constituency.
