Emeruwa Hails Wife as ‘Inspiration’ in Birthday Tribute

The Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ihuoma Emeruwa, has celebrated his wife, Lady Uchechi Emeruwa, on the occasion of her birthday, describing her as a constant source of inspiration and a dependable partner in both family life and public service.

In a statement he personally issued on Tuesday, the Speaker lauded his wife as a pillar of strength whose virtues, he said, have continued to bring dignity, growth, and blessings to their family and the wider Abia society.

Emeruwa commended Lady Uchechi for her role as a nurturing mother and exemplary guardian to their children, noting that she has consistently upheld values of love, discipline, and excellence in the home.

He further acknowledged her strong Christian faith as a devoted member of the Anglican Communion, as well as her advocacy for greater inclusion of women in governance, which he described as impactful and commendable.

The Speaker prayed for long life and prosperity for his wife, urging well-wishers to celebrate her on her special day.

“Today, let us honour her with wishes for long life and prosperity, as she truly deserves the very best. Happy birthday, my darling wife. The children and I love you,” he said.
