2027: Alex Otti 4+4 Movement Backs Anyaso, Vows Mass Mobilisation Across Bende

The Alex Otti 4+4 Divine Movement has pledged its full support and grassroots mobilisation for the Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The group made the commitment during a courtesy visit to Dr. Anyaso at his country home on Saturday, where its members promised to mobilise supporters across the wards of Bende Local Government Area for the Labour Party candidate.

Speaking during the visit, the State Convener of the movement, Pastor Engr. Chibueze Daniel Okah, said the organisation was established in recognition of the achievements of Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, and to mobilise political support for his administration and vision for the state.

Okah said the movement was also committed to supporting candidates contesting under the Labour Party across Abia State.

«“We formed this movement because of what His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, has done in Abia State. He has proved the real meaning of governance. His Excellency has wiped out the tears of Abians and has made our state the envy of other states,” he said.»

According to him, Governor Otti requires strong political support at the grassroots to consolidate his administration’s achievements and advance his political vision.

“We formed this group to support him. Not only him; he needs people that will back him up. We are working with every candidate under the Labour Party. We are working with them. Alex Otti 4+4 is here to identify ourselves with you,” Okah stated.

The State Convener also expressed confidence in Dr. Anyaso’s capacity to provide effective representation for the people of Bende Federal Constituency, citing his philanthropic interventions and contributions to the welfare of the people.

“Bende has been hungry for this, and God has sent you to liberate Bende. We know much about how you have been helping the people, and we know that when you enter there, you will make us proud,” he added.

Responding, Dr. Anyaso thanked the group for the visit and its pledge to support Labour Party candidates in the forthcoming elections.

He expressed optimism that the people of Bende would make what he described as the right choice at the polls after assessing the performance of Governor Otti’s administration.

“As you all know, Bende is a Local Government that is so interesting, and by the grace of God, come January 16, Bende people will make their decisions. I believe that having seen what the Governor has done, our people will make a good choice, and I believe that choice will be me, by the grace of God,” he said.

Dr. Anyaso urged members of the movement to sustain their grassroots mobilisation and reach out to residents who were yet to identify with the Labour Party’s political platform.

“I want you to continue to work hard so that if there is anyone who is not with us, we will ensure that the person is brought forward,” he said.

The Labour Party candidate further expressed confidence in the party’s prospects in the 2027 elections, declaring that Governor Otti’s re-election bid and the campaigns of other Labour Party candidates were on course for victory.

“By the grace of God, the election of our Governor is already a done deal, and we know that those of us will also win,” he said.

Also speaking, the Labour Party candidate for Bende South State Constituency, Hon. Chinedum Edwin Okorie, called on members of the Alex Otti 4+4 Divine Movement to intensify their mobilisation across the constituency and ensure strong support for Dr. Anyaso.

Okorie maintained that the election of Dr. Anyaso to the House of Representatives would complement the efforts of other Labour Party candidates and strengthen the party’s electoral fortunes across Bende.

In his vote of thanks, Hon. Anyim Eke commended the Alex Otti 4+4 Divine Movement for identifying with the Chima Anyaso Campaign Organisation, describing the visit as a demonstration of solidarity, commitment and unity within the Labour Party’s political family in Bende.

The group reaffirmed its determination to take its mobilisation campaign to the grassroots and work towards securing victory for Dr. Anyaso and other Labour Party candidates in the 2027 elections.
