Ahuoma Anyaso Education Foundation School, Igbere;18 Years of Quiet Impact, Lifelong Legacy

Long before politics became fashionable and long before many began speaking about grassroots development, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (Ofuji Ndi Igbo) made a defining choice that continues to shape lives today.

At just 28 years old, while many of his contemporaries were focused on building personal mansions or sending their children abroad, Dr. Anyaso invested in something far more enduring  the future of rural children. He established the Ahuoma Anyaso Education Free Nursery and Primary School in Igbere, a fully functional institution designed to provide free quality education for indigent children within the community and surrounding villages.

For 18 uninterrupted years, the school has stood as a symbol of compassion, equality, and visionary leadership  educating hundreds of children who otherwise might never have had access to formal education.

What makes this intervention even more remarkable is its sincerity. Dr. Anyaso did not create a school only for the poor; he demonstrated true belief in the system by allowing his own children to periodically attend the same village school, learning side-by-side with children from less privileged backgrounds.

This rare act erased social barriers and reinforced a powerful message:
Every child deserves dignity, opportunity, and quality education regardless of background.

The Ahuoma Anyaso Education Foundation School is not just a building; it is a living testimony of leadership rooted in humanity rather than publicity.

Eighteen years later, the impact remains visible educated youths, empowered families, and a community transformed through knowledge.

True leadership is measured not by promises made during elections, but by sacrifices made long before ambition calls.

Dr. Chima Anyaso chose people over prestige and Bende Federal Constituency shall be better for it.
