NLC Hails Anyaso’s ‘Well-Deserved’ Platinum Leadership Honour

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Abia State Council, has congratulated prominent philanthropist and businessman, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (Ofuji), on his conferment with the Platinum Leadership Award by the Umuahia Diocesan Synod of the Methodist Church Nigeria.

In a congratulatory letter dated April 27, 2026, and jointly signed by the State Chairman, Comrade Okoro Ogbonnaya, and the State Secretary, Comrade Chukwuma Nzeh, the union described the honour as richly deserved, citing Dr. Anyaso’s enduring compassion, generosity, and selfless service to humanity.

The Congress noted that Dr. Anyaso has consistently distinguished himself through impactful leadership and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people.

“You have consistently demonstrated that true leadership lies in serving others. This honour is a recognition of the indelible mark you have made in the vineyard of God and in the lives of the people,” the letter read.

The NLC further stated that the award should serve as motivation for continued dedication to humanitarian service and people-centred development, urging Dr. Anyaso to sustain his contributions towards societal growth and upliftment.
