Frontline political figure and philanthropist, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, popularly known as Ofuji, has called on boys and young men across Nigeria to embrace hope, purpose and moral values as the world commemorates the International Day of the Boy Child.

In a goodwill message issued on Friday, Dr. Anyaso reflected on the realities confronting many boys in modern society, acknowledging the struggles of those preparing for adulthood, those burdened with responsibilities at an early age, and men reflecting on the challenges of their childhood experiences.

He urged boys and young men not to lose faith despite life’s pressures, emphasizing the importance of divine guidance and self-worth.

“To the boys who will become men tomorrow, to those who were forced to become men too early, and to the men who were once boys  never forget that you have a Father in God. You are seen, you are valued, and you are loved,” he stated.

Dr. Anyaso stressed the need for stronger emotional support systems, mentorship and positive value orientation for boys, noting that societal expectations on the male child continue to increase in a rapidly changing world.

Observers say the message aligns with the humanitarian and youth-focused advocacy efforts of the Bende-born political figure, whose interventions have consistently centred on youth empowerment, moral leadership and inclusive community development within and beyond the Bende Federal Constituency.
