Frontline Labour Party chieftain and philanthropist, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, has formally declared his readiness to contest for the Bende Federal Constituency seat, expressing confidence in victory as he picked up his nomination forms under the platform of the Labour Party.

Speaking shortly after obtaining the forms on Friday, Anyaso attributed his political journey and aspirations to divine grace, thanking God for preserving his life and granting him the opportunity to take another significant step in his political career.

The Bende-born politician also expressed profound gratitude to the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, for what he described as unwavering support, leadership and encouragement.

He further appreciated the leadership and members of the Labour Party for their confidence in him, while thanking the people of Bende Federal Constituency for their continued trust, love and support over the years.

Anyaso equally acknowledged the role played by his friends, political associates and family members in sustaining his ambition, with special appreciation to his wife for her prayers, encouragement and steadfast support.

Reaffirming his determination to serve the people, the Labour Party stalwart declared that he was fully prepared for the task ahead and optimistic about the future.

“This is a dream whose time has come and by the special grace of God, nothing can stop what God has ordained,” he stated.

His move to secure the party’s nomination forms is expected to further strengthen political activities ahead of the forthcoming elections in Bende Federal Constituency.
