Bende Traditional Rulers Bless Anyaso, Urge Unity Ahead of 2027 Polls

The Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, has reaffirmed his commitment to humility, integrity and selfless service after a high-level meeting with the traditional rulers of Bende South (Ikwuishii).

Speaking after the engagement, Anyaso described the audience with the royal fathers as a humbling and inspiring experience, noting that their warm reception, fatherly counsel and sincere concern for the peace, unity and development of Bende had further strengthened his resolve to serve the people.

The Labour Party standard-bearer said he was deeply touched by the prayers and blessings offered by the traditional rulers and the Ugoezes, describing them as a priceless source of encouragement that he would always cherish.

“I do not take their goodwill for granted. I pray that Almighty God rewards their love, grants them good health, and preserves them with many more years of wisdom and service to our people,” he said.

According to Anyaso, the traditional rulers stressed the need for all sons and daughters of Bende to place the collective interest of the constituency above personal ambitions, insisting that unity remains the foundation for sustainable development.

He described the message as timely and profound, pledging to remain steadfast in promoting peace, inclusiveness and the shared aspirations of the people of Bende.
