Igbere Diaspora Welcomes Anyaso in Canada, Pledges Support for 2027 Rep Bid

Members of the Igbere Welfare Union (IWU), Canada Branch, have received the Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, during his ongoing visit to Toronto, Canada.

Anyaso was warmly received on Sunday night by members of the union led by Engr. Uche Ndubuisi, Chairman of Lekota Hotel, Aba, Abia State, alongside other prominent members of the Igbere community resident in Canada.

The reception provided an opportunity for members of the Igbere community in the diaspora to interact with the Bende Federal Constituency hopeful and express their interest in his 2027 bid for a seat in the House of Representatives.
The union members also assured Anyaso of their support as he seeks to represent the constituency on the platform of the Labour Party in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during the engagement, Anyaso reiterated his commitment to people-centred representation, responsive leadership and sustainable development, stressing the need for stronger connections between elected representatives and their constituents at home and in the diaspora.
The Toronto engagement forms part of his ongoing consultations and interactions with Ndi Bende and Igbere stakeholders within Nigeria and across the diaspora ahead of the 2027 elections.
