Ndukwe Hails Stakeholders After Successful APC Congress in Umuahia North

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State, Hon. Samuel Abel Ndukwe, has expressed profound appreciation to party leaders and stakeholders for what he described as a successful and historic ward and local government congress in the area.

In a statement released on Thursday, Ndukwe said the peaceful and credible conduct of the congress reflected the unity and renewed strength of the party in the local government area.

He particularly commended the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria, Benjamin Okezie Kalu, for his leadership and commitment to the growth of the party in Abia State.

According to him, the vision and dedication of Kalu have continued to inspire confidence among party members and stakeholders.

“His unwavering commitment to unity and progress within the party has been instrumental in the success recorded during the ward and local government congresses.

His leadership has strengthened the party structure and rekindled hope among members,” Ndukwe said.

The APC chairman also extended special appreciation to the Director-General of BOK, Rev. Emma Trumps Eke, for what he described as his extraordinary dedication and passion in ensuring the smooth conduct of the congress.

He further acknowledged the contributions of Rt. Hon. Stanley Ohajuruka, Chief Charles Ogbonna (Evulogu Ibeku), Barr. Sam Hart, Chief of Staff to Kalu, and former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Chinedum Orji, for their support, guidance and leadership throughout the process.

Ndukwe also thanked other party stakeholders including Ikechi Emenike, Sam Akagu, Sir Tony Eze, Paul Nmeregini, King Lucky, Pat Mgbemena, Tony Onyeanuna and Osondu Nwankwo for their roles in mobilising members and ensuring the congress was peaceful and credible.

He noted that the collective efforts of stakeholders demonstrated the party’s resolve to strengthen internal democracy and reposition the APC for greater political success in Abia State.

“The transparent atmosphere created during the congresses reflects our shared commitment to building a stronger, people-centred APC where every member feels valued and empowered,” he added.

Ndukwe also expressed gratitude to APC members in Umuahia North, Renewed Hope partners and supporters for their unwavering loyalty and support.

He assured that the party leadership in the local government area would continue to work diligently to consolidate the gains made and advance the ideals of the APC in the state.

“Together, we will achieve greater heights and build a brighter future for Abia State and Nigeria,” he said.
