Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma celebrates Children’s Day – “The future of Abia Central will not be sacrificed again”

Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma has congratulated children across Abia Central Senatorial District, Abia State, and Nigeria on the celebration of this year’s Children’s Day, declaring that the time has come for leaders to stop playing politics with the future of innocent children.
In a strongly worded Children’s Day message filled with hope, passion, and commitment to the younger generation, Rt. Hon. Atuma described the children of Abia Central as the “light, strength, and future greatness” of the land.
“When you see the smile of a child, you see the future of a nation. Our children deserve better. They deserve quality education, good schools, opportunities, protection, and leadership that truly cares about their tomorrow. We cannot continue to fail our children and expect the society to grow.”
Rt. Hon. Atuma lamented the long years of neglect in the education sector, stating that too many children have suffered because leaders abandoned their responsibilities and focused on politics instead of the people.
“Enough is enough. The future of our children can never again be relegated to the background. A child who is denied education today may become a victim of poverty tomorrow. That is why we must rise and invest seriously in our children now.”
The APC Candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District praised hardworking parents struggling daily to give their children a better life despite the economic hardship in the country, while also appreciating teachers for their sacrifices and dedication in molding future leaders.
Speaking directly to the children, Rt. Hon. Atuma encouraged them to remain bold, focused, disciplined, and determined, reminding them that greatness comes through hard work, consistency, and self-belief.
“To every child in Abia Central, I want you to know this, your background will not stop your greatness. Your dreams are valid. Your future is bright. Keep pushing, keep believing, keep learning, because tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.”
He further assured the people that the new generation of leadership must prioritize education, youth empowerment, innovation, and human capital development if real progress must come to Abia Central and Nigeria.
Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma concluded by calling on government at all levels, community leaders, parents, and stakeholders to unite in protecting the rights, dreams, and future of every Nigerian child.
❤️ Happy Children’s Day to all our wonderful children. The future belongs to you!
