Nigeria’s Envoy Hails Spain’s Historic FIFA World Cup Triumph

Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, has congratulated the Government and people of Spain following the country’s historic victory at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

In a goodwill message, Dr. Ikpeazu extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Felipe VI, the Spanish Government, the Royal Spanish Football Federation, the coaching crew, and the Spanish national team for clinching the prestigious global title.

Spain secured its second FIFA World Cup crown after edging Argentina 1-0 in extra time in a thrilling final, capping an outstanding tournament with a memorable triumph.
