2027: ‘Give Me Four Years, My Performance Will Demand Continuity’ — Anyaso …Challenges Ndi Bende to Judge Leadership by Results, Not Handouts

Labour Party chieftain and Bende Federal Constituency hopeful, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, has said his ambition is to deliver quality representation that would make the people of Bende willingly demand continuity after his first four years in the House of Representatives.
Anyaso, popularly known as Ofuji, made the declaration while outlining his vision of leadership and representation, stressing that genuine leadership should be measured by service, tangible impact and accountability rather than political theatrics.
According to him, his prayer and commitment is that, after his first term, the people of Bende, like Ndi Abia, would be the ones demanding and campaigning for continuity because the evidence of effective representation would be too clear to ignore.
He said: “Leadership should be about service, impact and accountability not dancing around day and night, sharing taxpayers’ money with vulnerable people in a desperate attempt to buy their conscience.”
Anyaso urged political leaders to focus on delivering meaningful results for their constituents rather than relying on handouts and publicity-driven activities to secure political support.
“Do the work. Let the people judge. Let the results speak,” he said.
The Bende Federal Constituency hopeful further maintained that political office should be treated as a responsibility to the people and not an avenue for personal enrichment or the manipulation of vulnerable citizens.
As the 2027 political season gathers momentum, Anyaso’s message places emphasis on performance-based politics, with the expectation that voters should assess leaders by their record of service, accountability and measurable development.
