Anyaso Urges Rising Afrobeats Star ‘Premium’ to Pursue Global Stardom

Labour Party candidate for the Bende Federal Constituency in the forthcoming general elections, Dr Chima Anyaso, has urged rising Afrobeats artiste Edeh Victor Freedom Mmerichukwu popularly known as Premium to remain focused and determined in his pursuit of a successful music career.

Anyaso gave the advice when the artiste paid him a visit, describing the meeting as a memorable and significant encounter.

Premium is steadily establishing himself in Nigeria’s competitive music industry as he works towards taking the country’s distinctive sound to audiences around the world. His latest single, “Chairman,” has continued to attract attention and generate interest among music lovers.

The visit provided an opportunity for a wide-ranging exchange on music, creativity, personal development and the challenges facing emerging artistes in the entertainment industry.

The discussion also highlighted the importance of consistency, originality and determination in building a lasting career in music.

The meeting later took a warm family turn when Premium met Anyaso’s wife and daughter. What began as a routine visit became a lively family encounter, marked by laughter, smiles and a brief dance shared between the artiste and the young girl.

The memorable moment underscored the human side of the journey to success, reminding observers that beyond public recognition and professional achievements, relationships and shared experiences remain an important part of life.

With “Chairman” gaining traction, Premium has been encouraged to continue creating, remain committed to his craft and pursue his ambition of projecting Afrobeats on the global stage.

Although his journey is still at an early stage, the artiste’s growing momentum suggests that more significant chapters may lie ahead in his musical career.
